About the workshops
What is a junk journal you may ask?
A handmade book crafted from recycled, repurposed materials such as book pages, maps, old envelopes, packaging, anything you like really.
What is it for?
First and foremost, it’s simply fun to make. Use it for memories, art, travel, journaling, collage, inspiration, ideas etc. Make it totally your own, it is whatever your imagination can come up with.
Don’t worry though I will take you through the process step by step, you don’t need any special skills.
You will
· Choose papers, including a cover
· Add collage
· Bind your book together
· Add more collage
· Add ephemera
· Draw, write etc
What’s included:
- All materials supplied
What to Bring:
- Feel free to bring your own photos, tickets, tags, and specific materials you may wish to include. These are extras and can be added on later if needed.
- If you did our Gelli Printing Course - feel free to bring along your Gelli Prints to use as papers in your Junk Journal.

- Water dispenser and glasses available
