🎤 80s Singalong - Hops & Harmony at Royal Mail Hotel 🪩
*Big hair, bold moves and belting out the biggest songs of the decade - it’s time to go full 80s! 💃🕺*
Join us for Hops & Harmony’s 80s Singalong \- a low\-pressure\, high\-fun night where everyone gets to sing\.
Think Bon Jovi, Journey, Whitney Houston, The Bangles, Michael Jackson and Madonna \- plus plenty more 80s favourites\. We’ll warm up with some songs everyone knows, learn one epic song together - including some three-part harmony - and then sing our way through the hits of the 80s.
And yes - 80s dress-ups are encouraged. The more outrageous, the better! ⚡
What is Hops & Harmony?
Hops & Harmony is a bar choir experience where absolutely anyone can join in. No choir experience. No sheet music. Nothing to practise beforehand. Everything is taught on the night and you sing together as part of the group.
Can’t sing? Perfect. This isn't about sounding perfect - it's about the fun of a room full of people singing their hearts out together. If you sing in the shower, car or kitchen, you're more than qualified. 🎤
Meet Your Conductor
Jamie Lee Wilson (aka JVMIE) is a Billboard and ARIA-charting singer-songwriter and Queensland Conservatorium graduate who has led choirs and singalongs across Queensland and beyond. She has a knack for turning a room full of strangers into one big, loud and joyful singing community - very quickly.
